I still get sad when people unsubscribe from my emails…

I’ve been getting better at it, but I still get a bit of a emotional charge when anyone unsubscribes from my email list…

I don’t know which is worse the people that use the unsubscribe link on the email or the people that hit reply and put various comments in the email from courteous, to curt, to rude to very rude…

I guess that I’m still wanting everyone to like me. I’m still seeking my mom or pop’s or maybe even both of their approval. At least my Pop hasn’t unsubscribed! Then I would definitely be triggered into an “incident” of some sort.

I think that it will be easier as time goes on, but not really…

OK – I feel somewhat better. At least until I check my unsubs list again.

Cheers, -Terry

Memorial Day Weekend 2008

Memorial Day 2008 is over and Summer is officially here. It’s cold, wet and rainy in So Cal, but other than that, It’s Summer Time.

Memorial Day 2008 was excellent for me.

  • Amy & I attended a commitment ceremony for one of my oldest friends – Nell. She and her partner were both beautiful. It was great seeing my friends and reminded me that life is about the giving and receiving of love.
  • We had lunch at the Hotel Del Coronado with friends. Ahhhhh! The good life…
  • We screened “Harmonic Wealth – The Movie” by James Ray at our Church on Sunday. James did an excellent job. The best that I have seen since The Secret.
  • Corn and Strawberries are in season and I almost made myself sick on both… Yummy!
  • We bar-b-qued chicken on Memorial Day.
  • Gas is $4.05 per gallon for regular unleaded compared to about $9.50 USD per gallon in Holland.
  • Still figuring our Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo Pulse. Jury is still out.
  • A google search for Terry Hall has me come up between #4 & #12.
  • No word from Donny Deutcsh’s people yet. It’s been a whole week!
  • I saw Mick Moore’s Trailer on YouTube for the new Power of Mentorship movie-Mick did a great job.
  • I reconnected with Pete a Landmark Education Seminar Leader Buddy – He’s doing great.
  • Started my next book – about success in business

Well thats my Memorial Day Wrap up.

An Open Letter to those that served – Happy Memorial Day

Today I am grateful for my freedoms.
…Freedom to pray as I see fit.
…Freedom to vote.
…Freedom to choose.
…Freedom to express my opinions.
…Freedom of speech.
…Freedom of vocation.
…Freedom of destiny.
…Free will.

Today I am grateful for YOU, my family, friends and associates.

Today I am grateful for my wife Amy and her love.

I write this, a tear in my eye for those that I am most grateful, the men and women that served and sacrificed to for my freedoms. Most of you I do not know and you do not know me.

Thank you for giving me the life that I have. Thank you for my freedom.

All my love,
Terry

Share Your Psychic Experiences… Here Are Some of Mine

Share your psychic stories...

It’s scary to write about something that many people think of as odd, strange and weird. But I know that everyone has had some type of psychic experience.

Part of my mission is to set the record straight about Psychic and Spiritual Experiences. Let’s start here…

For the most part, the psychic experiences that I’m asked to verify and sort out are of two types either Authentic or “Bad Sushi”. Authentic psychic phenomena are very exciting, fun and often very beautiful for me to verify, but they’re very rarely dramatic or scary. On the other hand, “Bad Sushi” experiences are almost always dramatic and scary (by the way it’s not just bad sushi that does this, also bad Mexican food or any large meal, drugs and/or alcohol). The bottom-line is these are physiological effects and not psychic at all.

It’s pretty easy to sort out. For myself I enjoy the physiological ones. It’s pretty darn fun and entertaining what our minds are capable of conjuring up!

Here are some real Psychic Experiences and Ghost Stories:

  • I woke up one night with a man standing next to the bed on my my ex-wife’s side. I recognized him as one of my wife’s teachers named Russel (it’s cool Russel is standing here now). I said hello (like I did just now) and he nodded (de ja veau all over again)… My ex-wife woke up. She looked at me. She looked at Russel, then back at me and went back to sleep. Russel disappeared and I was left awake waiting to find out what happened from my wife the next day. She didn’t really go for this stuff and I wanted to see if she saw anything. The next day, we went to a late breakfast and I ask her about it. She looked surprised and said… You saw that too? Then got really quiet. She didn’t want to talk about it. (theme from Twilight Zone playing in the back ground).
  • I was driving home late one night and was having a very hard time staying awake, but I kept on driving. When I woke up with a big startle. I heard a loud voice in the car with me and it wouldn’t stop. (Usually psychic voices stop when we’re back to full consciousness.) It was loud enough to be uncomfortable to my ears and the voice was mine. I pulled over to find my digital recorder on at full volume in the back seat of my Jeep. I had been driving for almost an hour when this happened…
  • One evening at dusk I saw a female coyote (she was nursing) cross the road. I totally was swept up in the beauty of the sunset and this animal. In the middle of my joyful experience, I saw that she would be killed by a car… 2 nights later that happened.
  • I gave a message (a message is shared to assist someone along their path and what Intuitive Consultants do) to a man about my same age. Typically I don’t remember the messages that I give, but this one was different. The message was this man standing in front of me holding a crown of thorns. He would put it on and his face got bloody and showed pain and agony. When he took the crown off the blood, pain and suffering disappeared instantly. And that was the message. For me personally I saw several places that I had behavior that was harmful or uncomfortable. Usually that’s the end of the story, but I saw this man a few days later. He made it a point to come up to me. He looked very happy and had to tell me that the message really upset him and pissed him off, but about an hour or so later he totally understood the message and was able to make a huge change in his life that he had avoided for a very long time.
  • When I first started developing my psychic and mediumship I realized that someone was next to me. It was a young boy and I knew his name was Christopher. But then he started singing “Doe a deer a female deer” from the movie the “Sound of Music”. He sang this song off and on for the next 3 days (like in the movie “Ghost” with “99 bottles of beer on the wall”. – I hate that darn song, but he really likes it and used it as a way to let me know that he was there and that I’m never alone. Now, I’m touched by this story.

Those are the stories of real phenomena. Next is my favorite “Bad Sushi” Story…

  • It was Halloween and I was in Big Bear in a rented cabin. We had a wonderful fireplace some nice wine and some garlicky Italian food and it was very romantic… On TV was a Séance to conjure up Harry Houdini. Nothing really happened on the TV show and we went bed. The cabin was big and the bed looked down a hall with a Gnome/Troll like statute at the end of the hall next to a night light. I needed glasses at the time and caught glimpses of the gnome/troll in my side vision. I dozed off and woke up in a total panic. When my eyes were closed, the gnome/troll was coming down the hall towards me, when I opened my eyes, he would jump back to his spot in the hall. This went on for about 2 hours. I was scared to death. My mind would not let go of the thought of being killed in Big Bear by a gnome/troll possessed by Harry Houdini’s ghost! – The was totally my imagination.

Einstein said that imagination is more important than knowledge. He had it totally right. Over my years of experience and all those that taught me, there is nothing bad of evil that can happen in this type of work and experience. That all comes from our own minds and the deeds of our fellow man.
Write your stories in a comment. I would love to hear them.

What idiot wanted me to write a book?

…Oh yeah, that idiot was me!

Wow! My first book is done. It was everything and nothing that I thought it would be.

Still Single? WHY?!? – Spirit’s Guide to Love and Attracting Your Perfect Mate

[get your free copy]- put “Terry Personal” in the promotion code to get it free.

Right now I am very happy and relieved. I pushed back my dead line by over a week, but it’s done. It’s finally done. Well not really. I’ve just sorted out all the errors that I can find. Now the true editors take over. – My goal now is to not take the criticism personally.

Now I’m putting together the audio book of the messages from my Spirit Guides & Teachers. I will include my comments. That promises to be fun.

Here is what I learned about writing my first book:

  • Typos multiply like clothes hangers in a closet.
  • I hate you and your or is it your and you
  • Other words I hate are:
    • Its-It’s, here-hear, to-too, effect-affect
  • Syntax and grammar are a bugger.
  • Transcribing recordings is tedious – on a good day.

But I like it. The book says what I want. Its fun working with people that totally love me.

I definitely have Angels on my shoulders (literally) and I can’t wait to do it again.

Warmly,

Terry Hall

Welcome to The Adventures Of A Happy Medium

Wow, where the heck have the years gone?

Here is a little information about me so you will get a sense of me, my experience and the back ground for my points of view and opinions.

I was born, raised and educated in the Southern United States (Mississippi, Tennessee & Georgia). When Jeff Foxworthy talks about Red Necks, I are one. He is describing me of my immediate family in his jokes (the truth is stranger that fiction).

I am educated as an engineer, was trained as a computer programmer and database specialist. My first computer was an IBM PC with a mono-chrome monitor, a single 5-1/4″ floppy drive and a180 column dot-matrix printer. That we in 1981 and the price of the system was in the neighborhood of $5,000! (such a deal – said with a yiddish accent)

I was married very early in life when I knew all the answers, but didn’t know that I didn’t understand the questions. I stayed married for about 13 years.

Professionally I have been:

  • Engineer
  • Computer Programmer (System 38, HP Sys 3, RPG & dBase)

  • AT&T Sales Person
  • Magazine Ad Salesperson
  • MLM Business Owner (several companies)
  • B2B Networking Business Owner
  • Seminar Promoter
  • Business and Personal Coach/Consultant
  • Spiritual Counselor & Reader

I have been compensated for my services and expertise in each of these areas. Some very well and some cost me more than I made (good tax write off, bad business strategy). But each experience has contributed to my overall business experience and wisdom. I personally have lived by the Chinese Proverb “Fall Down Seven Times, Get Up 8″.

My personal development work:

  • T Harv Ekker’s 1st “Street Smart Business School”
  • Eric Lofholm’s Platinum Protege Program
    • The Close

That will give you a sense of the quest for knowledge, happiness & success that I have been on since 1980. All the while I have known that I was on my right path. I have made many mistakes and had many successes. I look forward to sharing with you various stories, experiences and lessons that I’ve learned along the way so that you may be able to learn from my experiences.

Warmly,

Terry Hall
